Distance Learning Programs

Supported Learning to Fit Around Your Work and Home Life Commitments

The main advantage of distance learning is that it allows you to fit the learning around your work and home life commitments from anywhere across the globe.

CNet Training has a range of programs available that are distance learning based. The learning resources are accessed online allowing for complete self-paced learning and therefore providing ultimate flexibility to study from wherever you are and at a time that is most convenient to you.

Once enrolled in one of the distance learning programs, learners are able to access CNet’s Learning Management System, CNet Academy, where they can access and progress through all the learning material required to complete the program.

CNet's aim is to ensure your learning experience is enjoyable as possible within CNet Academy. To help achieve this, all CNet learners who undertake a distance learning program or attend a program that includes some pre-class study have access to a dedicated CNet support team. The support team is made up of technical specialists plus our expert Instructors who have a wealth of experience to share, and can offer valuable advice and guidance as needed within CNet Academy.

Support includes:

  • Assistance with technical queries regarding the content of your program or pre-class study
  • Guidance if you experience any difficulties with any parts of the program or pre-class study
  • One-to-one calls to help you navigate CNet Academy

You will also receive useful announcements and reminders via the Learner Forum within CNet Academy.

Distance Learning programs currently available are the Data Centre Fundamentals (DCF®), Network Infrastructure Fundamentals (NIF®), and the Masters Degree in Data Centre Leadership and Management.

Some distance learning programs, such as the Data Centre Fundamentals (DCF®), are narrated to further enrich the learning experience and for learners to watch at their own pace.

The programs comprise modules that can be studied at your own pace with online support. At the end of each module, there is a quiz to confirm newly gained knowledge. The results of each quiz count towards the successful completion of each program.
