Committed to a Sustainable Future

At CNet Training, we are committed to minimising our environmental impact, maximising sustainability, and to helping preserve and protect the environment for future generations. We believe all changes matter, even the smallest of steps, and help CNet to positively progress in the direction of sustainability.

Some examples of how this is ingrained in our everyday working lives are: company-wide environmental awareness training, providing reusable water bottles instead of disposable plastic cups, choosing bamboo contactless business cards over printed versions, providing recycling bins throughout our offices, and providing digital brochures rather than hard copies wherever possible.

Also, since 2017, we have been delivering programs via live Instructor-led Remote Attendance classes, driven by the desire to operate in a more sustainable and environmentally sensitive way. As early adopters of this method of delivery, we were tried and tested and completely ready when the world was forced to go fully digital during the global pandemic. This move naturally makes a significant difference to our carbon footprint and that of our clients in relation to less travel.

CNet is ISO 14001:2015 Certified for Environmental Management

In October 2021, CNet gained the ISO 14001:2015 certification in recognition of our ongoing commitment to environmental management systems.

The ISO 14001:2015 is the International Standard for Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and has been designed to help organisations around the world reduce their environmental impact.

The certification process follows standards set by ISO – the International Organisation for Standardisation – to reduce the effect of global warming and mitigate all adverse impacts to the global climate, with the aim to address the 17 sustainable development goals set by the United Nations.

CNet has Been Awarded a Silver EcoVadis Medal

Our continuing commitment to sustainability was recognised and strengthened with the award of the Silver EcoVadis Medal for 2023, placing us in the top 25% of companies assessed by EcoVadis for sustainability.

EcoVadis is the world’s largest and most trusted provider of business-to-business sustainability ratings, creating a global network of more than 90,000 rated companies. Founded in 2007 in Paris, it envisions a global marketplace where sustainability intelligence influences every business decision – improving economies, people’s lives and the planet we all depend on.

EcoVadis rates businesses on their sustainability performance, based on four sustainability themes: Environment, Labour and Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement. It rates performance by assessing a company’s policies, actions and results, and inputs from third-party professionals and external stakeholders and scored between 1 and 100 for each of the four themes.
