Classroom-based Learning - Safety Measures

The CNet team would like to reassure customers that it is constantly following Government advice and has put in place the following additional safety measures for classroom-based programs. It is vital that you take personal responsibility for adherence to these measures to help ensure personal safety.

General

  • Each learner will have their own dedicated workspace
  • All desks and workstations will be positioned to adhere to social distancing guidelines
  • Teaching methods have been modified to ensure social distancing is maintained
  • You will be issued with hand sanitiser, facemasks, disposable gloves and antibacterial wipes
  • Breaks and lunches are taken in designated areas adhering to social distancing guidelines
  • You may be required to have temperature tests or lateral flow tests during your attendance

Network Infrastructure Programs - Classroom-based Safety Measures
All CNet's Network Infrastructure Centres in the UK remain open and it is business as usual.

  • Each facility will be sanitised with deep cleaning spray frequently
  • All practical exercises have been modified to ensure social distancing is maintained
  • All tools and equipment will be issued to individuals or bubbles of two for the duration of each program
  • All workstations, tools and equipment will be sanitised frequently
  • You will also be issued with your own hard hat, hi-vis and safety glasses as applicable

All Classroom-based Programs
We respectfully ask all learners to adhere to the following safety measures at all times:

  • Use the PPE provided and do not share, if you need any additional supplies please just ask your Instructor
  • Please maintain social distancing and adhere to any one-way systems in place
  • The desk you sit at should remain as your personal station for the duration of your program
  • Access to staff only areas is not permitted (these areas are clearly signed)
  • Cough or sneeze into your elbow, or into a tissue and dispose of it straight away
  • Avoid touching your face
  • Regularly wash or sanitise your hands
