Successfully delivering quality training and education to a class is a very different skill to that of presenting to large audiences at conferences. It requires a detailed understanding of the science of teaching and assessment, so here at CNet Training we ensure that all of our Instructors are qualified in this skill set; they each have their own professional development plan to ensure that an engaging personality and a teaching style with clear objectives for the education programs are their overriding objectives.

Clint is CNet’s head of Technical Development, developing and maintaining CNet’s technical education programs. Clint has a wealth of knowledge and experience to the technical development team, he joins directly from the British Army’s Royal Corps of Signals where he served in a variety of telecommunications technical roles including training designer in the British Army. Clint was also responsible for the design, planning and implementation of a project to move the entire military Task Force to a new site for which he was awarded a Queen’s Commendation for Valuable Service.

John is an experienced and accomplished Information Technology professional, with over 20 years of experience and a proven track record following years of managing, designing, relocating, and supporting IT services in data centers. He has been the technical lead for many IT infrastructure and data centers projects including major IT deployments and disaster recovery and has plenty of real-world knowledge to bring to the CNet’s technical development team.

Craig has 22 years experience in management, telecommunications, and education development in the Ministry of Defence. He is well-practiced in project management, planning and implementation of physical networks utilizing many technologies and multinational systems. With an extensive record of successful planning, development, and delivery of Information Communication Technology (ICT) projects across the Security and Defense sector, Craig is a great asset to the Technical Development team.

Fil is an IT operations and data center professional with over 37 years of IT experience, the past 25 of which have been at a management level. Fil possesses an in depth understanding of mission critical environments, having successfully managed multiple data centers across Europe, as well as defining consistent levels of services to more than 20 Data Centers globally, and is therefore perfectly placed to work within CNet’s Technical Development team, developing and maintaining technical education programs to the highest of standards.

Melissa joined CNet Training with over 20 years’ data center and network infrastructure experience, plus 5 years teaching Data Center Design and Network Design programs. She has taught at the Top Gun Marine base in California and performed a Data Center Audit on Department of Defense facilities. Today, Melissa delivers CNet Training’s Global Data Center programs, including Data Center Management, Design and Audit.

Patrick Drew came to CNet Training with over 24 years of experience in the industry. He has worked in various roles from Network Engineer to Data Center Manager, covering Europe, North America and Asia. Now, Patrick is helping CNet spread the message about the importance of sustainability across the industry. He successfully completed the Business Sustainability Management program from the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL). Patrick delivers CNet’s Level 5 Certified Data Center Sustainability Professional (CDCSP®) program from the highly acclaimed Global Data Center Education Framework. He is also one of CNet’s dedicated Online Tutors, providing on-going support as part of the pre-class study and during CNet’s Distance Learning programs, including the Masters Degree in Data Center Leadership and Management.

Kevin enjoyed a 22-year career in the Royal Air Force; towards the end of that career he became the Chief Instructor at the Aerial Erector School based at RAF Digby. He also qualified as a City & Guilds fiber optics instructor and an NVQ D32/D33 Assessor. Kevin, who is fluent in French, delivers a wide range of programs, from fiber optics and data center design programs. In addition, he is also one of CNet’s dedicated Online Tutors, providing on-going support as part of the pre-class study and during CNet’s Distance Learning programs.

Andrew joins CNet following 15 years’ experience in the IT Services industry including project management roles with high profile network infrastructure organizations. Previously, Andrew has also undertaken project management roles in a variety of large installation projects including work with The London Olympics, BBC, Walt Disney, Westgate Oxford, Bloomberg. More recently he was responsible for the implementation of a disaster recovery team to eight European data centers incorporating a quality improvement plan.

Karl joins CNet following a successful career in communications infrastructure, most recently working as a Training Delivery Manager, developing and providing communications training programs to communications infrastructure executives of all levels and experience. Karl has been responsible for the continuous personal development of the junior tradespeople within the Royal Signals Communications Engineer trade group, enabling their progression from engineers to team leaders.

As an Instructor, Karl delivers confident and clear communication, developed during his 22 years of military service. Along with an effective leadership style, Karl has the ability to bring together teams and individuals.

Prior to working in education, Rob spent 15 years working in the defense industry. Passionate about life-long learning, Rob has studied a wide range of subjects over the last 30 years and completed an MSc in Computing, a BSc (Hons) in Psychology and a level 5 apprenticeship in Leadership and Management.

Helen has specialized in eLearning for over 15 years, and has extensive experience implementing, supporting and developing a variety of learning technologies within the higher and further education sector. Prior to this, Helen worked within a variety of corporate organizations, acquiring key IT infrastructure and support knowledge. Helen works closely with the Higher and Further Education Principle, tutors and Anglia Ruskin University to coordinate and administer the Masters Degree program.
