Meet CNet Training at NECA 2019 in Las Vegas

by CNet / Thursday, 22 August 2019 / Published in News

CNet Training will be exhibiting at NECA 2019 in Las Vegas

NECA , the National Electrical Contractors Association are hosting ‘The Show for Those Who Power the World’ trade show convention at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas from the 14th – 17th September. The show is aimed at the $160 billion electrical construction industry that brings power, light and communication technology to buildings and communities across the U.S.

CNet will be on Booth #1467 with a team ready to discuss how CNet can help enhance the knowledge, certifications, and qualifications of teams as well as talking through the renowned Network Infrastructure Education Framework comprising technical education programs spanning the network infrastructure sector, in network cable installation through to completing a detailed network infrastructure design project and deliver this to the market via an effective tender response.

Andrew Stevens, CEO, CNet Training commented “We are thrilled to be exhibiting at NECA19 this year, over the past three years we have been delivering our Network Infrastructure programs across North America, our passionate team are dedicated to delivering the highest level of quality technical education programs to suit the industry needs. We look forward to meeting and talking with some great organizations at NECA about how CNet can help to enhance the knowledge, certification, and qualification of installation and design teams.

We design all of our program content with the help of influential industry leaders to ensure that everything we create is fit for purpose, addressing the real needs of the sector as well as considering the evolving trends for the future. Our programs and credentials are established across the world, the increased demand the industry faces and the hefty costs for when things go wrong has led to more organizations discovering the true value and benefits a competent, confident and skilled workforce can bring to their long-term business strategy.”

CNet has an impressive client list including; Microsoft, Bank of America, Apple and Equinix to name a few and is the only industry dedicated technical education provider in the world to award both internationally recognized qualifications and professional certifications. CNet originated the highly acclaimed Global Digital Infrastructure Education Framework, offering a pathway of professional education programs throughout the industry. Each education program addresses the skills and knowledge requirements of different roles throughout the sector so learners can enter the framework at any level, depending on their experience.

    The Network Infrastructure programs include:

The Network Infrastructure Programs include the globally recognized Certified Network Cable Installer (CNCI®) program, the ten-day program provides learners with the skills and knowledge to confidently install, test and certify a complete copper and fiber cable installation. CNCI® has gained international respect and strong support from major installation companies, manufacturers, end-users, construction companies, and consultants.

The Certified Integrated Infrastructure Technician (CIIT®) program develops the knowledge and practical skills required to deliver network infrastructure projects that include the installation and commissioning of intelligent network devices. It’s a comprehensive five-day program perfect for those with at least two years of verifiable experience within the network infrastructure sector, or relevant qualifications and certifications in a wider project environment.

The five-day Certified Network Infrastructure Technician (CNIT®) program develops the knowledge and skills required to perform the multifaceted role in delivering complex project to site. Learners will greatly enhance their supervisory and management skills through a series of complex case studies mastering the knowledge and understanding required to interpret complex design documentation, the need to establish effective relationships and communications with principle stakeholders and managing the end-to-end project implementation cycle. They will develop an aptitude for logistics and resource management, including team health and safety, dealing with risks and issues that impact project delivery. A certified CNIT® will be undaunted when dealing with escalations and problem resolution within a strategic network infrastructure project. The impact to the project delivery of current and emerging networking technologies will also be explored including wireless access, security systems and VOIP.

The eight-day Certified Network Infrastructure Design Professional (CNIDP®) is a full and comprehensive program that equips network infrastructure professionals with the knowledge, skills and confidence to deliver complex infrastructure design projects from inception through to customer hand-over.

The Certified Telecommunications Project Management (CTPM®) 30-hour distance learning program equips learners with the skills to implement a cohesive risk management process, enabling potential risks and issues to be identified and appropriate actions to be taken to mitigate or manage them.

The five-day Certified Wireless Infrastructure Technician (CWIT®) is a comprehensive program perfect for those with 2-3 years’ experience within network infrastructure who wish to extend their knowledge, practical hands-on skills, qualifications and certifications into the wireless infrastructure environment.

The Certified Outside Plant Technician (COPT®) 5-day program is designed for individuals within the network cabling installation environment who are wishing to extend their knowledge by learning how to construct high capacity, high-quality external fiber-optic networks to meet the demand of Smart technologies of the future.
