Olly Day, Karl Brown and Dale Thompson from the CNet team spent the evening meeting prospective students and their families at University Technical College (UTC) Oxfordshire’s open evening event last week.
As a Trust Partner of ALET UTCs we work with other industry organisations to introduce the younger generation (14-18) to the industry, encouraging them to join the UTC to follow a curriculum focused on digital infrastructure, we are actively tackling the much talked about talent shortage.
One of our roles is to speak with prospective students and their parents to introduce them to the incredible opportunities that are available to them as part of this award-winning industry and education focused collaboration. Talking about what they will learn at the UTC and the career opportunities they will have after. It’s always so inspiring introducing newbies to the industry especially when they realise what the cloud really is…
All members of the CNet team have the opportunity to get involved with the ALET UTC partnership meaning students benefit from a broad cross section of skills and insights from across our business and from the other Trust Partners (AWS, Ark Data Centres, CBRE, CyrusOne, LMG, Virtus Data Centers and Yondr Group).
