Following this year’s fantastic event where £5,000 was raised, Inside_Networks is once again teaming up with CNet Training, Computacenter, Excel Networking Solutions and LMG to host the 2015 Inside_Networks Charity Golf Day, which will take place on 20th May at the Hanbury Manor PGA Championship Course in Ware, Hertfordshire.
As usual, the event will raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support and four ball teams will compete in a ‘best 2 from 4’ full handicap Stableford competition over 18 holes. Golf will be followed by a three-course dinner and prize giving with charity raffle. The cost to enter a four-person team is just £550+VAT and sponsorships are also available for various aspects of the day.
Rob Shepherd, editor of Inside_Networks, commented,
‘Now firmly established as one of the most popular events in the network infrastructure industry calendar, we are delighted to be involved with this event again. The work that Macmillan Cancer Support carries out is invaluable and I hope that the industry will unite for a great day of networking and competition on one of the UK’s premier golf courses.’
Andrew Stevens of CNet Training, added,
‘We have raised over £35,000 since we began the Charity Golf Days and we hope that this event will break the £40,000 barrier. It is a great day out which allows us to focus our competitive streaks in a different direction, while raising money for a worthwhile cause.’
A dedicated website has been developed to provide a whole host of information about the event. To enter a team or get more information about various sponsorship opportunities that are available email Mark Cumberworth at info@slicegolf.co.uk or call 07769 696976.
