Total Network Solutions Europe (TNS Europe) are announced as the UK’s first Licensed Education Partner with the global leader in technical education for the digital infrastructure industry, CNet Training.
TNS Europe is licensed to deliver the renowned ten-day Certified Network Cable Installer (CNCI®) program at their purpose-built training centre in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire. Having this additional location means the sought copper and fibre cable installation program will be more accessible and commutable for learners.
The CNCI® is dedicated to providing cable installers with everything they need to confidently and accurately prepare, install, test and certify copper and fibre cabling systems, specifically for those wishing to demonstrate the highest levels of knowledge, skills and expertise in network infrastructure. The certified program is referred to as providing the must-have certification for all those working within the sector. It is endorsed by many of the sector’s major installation companies and manufacturers, many of whom recognise the certification towards their own product training too. Successful completion of the ten-day program provides level three BTEC qualifications, official CNCI® certification and eligibility for an Electrotechnical Certification Scheme (ECS) Datacomms Specialist card – required to allow individuals to work on-site.
It also represents level three on The Global Digital Infrastructure Education Framework, the only framework in the world that maps professional learning, education, qualifications and official certifications with roles and career progression throughout the industry.
TNS Europe was set up ten years ago by industry IT and Telecoms professionals and has since grown into a successful company delivering specialised copper and fibre training, consultancy, installation and support services. As a CNCI® licensee, TNS program Instructors will go through CNet Training’s rigorous Train-the-Trainer process, which ensures their knowledge and quality of delivery is tested and refined to meet the high standards expected by CNet Training and in support of the ISO quality standards the company adheres to.
TNS Europe Managing Director, Paul Forster, said: “I very much look forward to working with CNet Training and delivering the CNCI®. The content of the program is constantly kept up to date with the ever-changing industry making it second-to-none and I am proud to be associated with the company and this program.”
Further CNCI® education centres are planned for the future. Martin Smith, CNet Training’s International Lead – Network infrastructure, said: “The CNCI® is becoming increasingly popular and the demand is driving the opening of more dedicated education centres across the UK and Ireland. TNS Europe has the experience and expertise we are looking for and by working together we can support the current demand and growth for both the official CNCI® certifications TNS Europe.”
