CNet Training’s Technical Lead Tim Amey is delighted to have been invited to deliver a technical workshop at the 8th Annual Green Data Center Conference.
The workshop, entitled ‘Implementing effective Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) for your data center’ will look at the right steps to take to establish better data center management and review how to align your DCIM program with organizational goals.
The three-day annual event (February 21 – 23, 2017), which is held in San Diego, CA aims to harness infrastructure optimization strategies to build a more efficient data center. Over the three days, attendees have the opportunity to network with professionals that share similar challenges. As well as two on-site data center tours which will be available, there are a choice of four workshops, and over 20 sessions to attend.
Tim Amey is an excellent choice to deliver the workshop, he is a technical Instructor at CNet Training and delivers high level technical education programs from The Global Data Centre and Network Infrastructure Education Framework, in locations across the globe. Tim has over 25 years of data center design, operations, and network infrastructure experience. He started his career in the U.S. Army as an Operations Engineer where he was called upon to design, build, and operate mission critical facilities throughout the world. Afterwards, Tim worked in the industry and was responsible for designing and managing critical facility and IT operations throughout the USA, Central America, Asia, and Australia supporting multiple fortune 500 companies.
