The global leaders in data centre training program, CNet Training, are pleased to launch their successful CDCTP™ (Certified Data Centre Technician Professional) training program in Dubai this October. This new introduction to CNet’s Middle East Data Centre training portfolio allows data centre professionals to enhance their skills and knowledge in addition to gaining post nominal titles and full certification.
A five day program, the CDCTP™ is classroom based and led by one of CNet Training’s expert instructors. It teaches delegates to the highest caliber; providing the knowledge, skills and expertise to ensure a data centre is operated and maintained to the highest possible standards.
It is divided into two units, the first three days covers physical infrastructure, business continuity and disaster recover, whilst the following two days comprises an in-depth analysis of elements associated with being a data centre technician, such as policies, procedures and compliance, and how to successfully measure, monitor and audit. Topics such as data and non-data related legislation, standards, regulations and codes of conduct, metrics, risk management and auditing are all covered in-depth.
The first program will run on 20th October in Dubai. CNet Training’s managing director Andrew Stevens comments,
“The CDCTP™ has proved to be a sought after program. It provides the essential skills and certification that allows delegates to competently identify and address the key issues that could be encountered by a data centre technician on a day-to-day basis and how to avoid the potentially huge consequences and costs of getting it wrong. Chosen my world leading organisations, the CDCDP™ provide essential certification for anyone working within a data centre environment.”
