CNet is delighted to sponsor the Suffolk Senior Cup for a ninth successive season, our eleventh year of sponsorship overall!
Initially sponsoring the Suffolk Junior Cup during the 2013-14 and 2014-15 seasons, we sponsored both the Junior Cup and Senior Cup in the 2015-16 season. CNet has sponsored the Senior Cup every year since and last season, celebrated ten years of supporting Suffolk FA. The Senior Cup, which is now named the ‘CNet Training Suffolk Senior Cup’, is the oldest football competition in Suffolk and was first played in the 1885-86 season.
CNet Training President & CEO Andrew Stevens is delighted to continue CNet’s association with the competition for the 2023-24 campaign.
Suffolk FA Chief Executive Richard Neal said: “For an organisation of the calibre of CNet Training to be continuing their association with Suffolk FA, and in particular the Suffolk Senior Cup, demonstrates their continued commitment to supporting local sport and organisations.
“CNet Training is an internationally renowned organisation, known for delivering award-winning technical education, from entry level with an Apprenticeship in network cable installation through to high level data centre management programme.
“The 2022-23 Senior Cup competition culminated with Framlingham Town winning this grand old trophy for the first time since 1893-94, when they were known as Framlingham College.
“The 2023-24 season, featuring an intriguing mixture of National League System Step 6 and Regional Feeder League teams, looks set to be as open and competitive as always.”
The first round of this season’s CNet Training Suffolk Senior Cup is scheduled to take place on Saturday, September 16th.
