UTC Heathrow (University Technical College Heathrow) and Partners is delighted to have once again been awarded the Education and Employment Project Award of the year in the prestigious Datacloud Global Awards. The win was announced last night at an awards ceremony held in Monaco as part of the DataCloud Global Congress and is the third award in 12 months recognising the work of the UTC partnership.
Thank you to the judges for such positive comments: “UTC Heathrow Partners’ submission outlines an impressive program that is successfully advancing the industry and engaging young people with its opportunities, demonstrating the potential for significant expansion, and emphasising the necessity of taking action to drive change.”
UTC Heathrow and Partners are united with the common aim of encouraging talent recruitment and development, raising awareness of opportunities and establishing clear career pathways for young people into the digital infrastructure industry.
CNet Training is proud to collaborate with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Ark Data Centres, CBRE, CyrusOne, Kao Data, LMG (lmgiq.com), Soben, VIRTUS Data Centres and Yondr Group, working in partnership with UTC Heathrow to tackle the talent shortage in the digital infrastructure industry for good.
Outright success in UTC Heathrow’s first academic year has established proof of concept to be replicated across the UK, with three more UTCs dedicated to the data centre sector opening over the next three academic years, the first of these opening later in 2023.
