We are seeking a talented and ambitious Sales Executive to assist the sales team in managing inbound sales enquiries and sales projects.

Knowledge, skills and experience required:

  • Tenacity and drive to seek new business and meet or exceed targets
  • Maintain in depth and up to date subject knowledge and technical competence to carry out duties
  • IT skills, including the use of spreadsheets, PowerPoint and Salesforce
  • A flexible approach to work with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

  • Respond to and follow up sales enquiries by email, telephone, and personal visits
  • Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant management information
  • Liaise with colleagues and attend meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business and organisational development
  • Manage progression of sales opportunities through the CRM software, keeping all records up to date and accurate
  • Assist the sales team with other sales activities as required

We are seeking a time-served professional from the digital infrastructure industry who aspires to create a legacy through the creation and sharing of exceptional learning content for the network infrastructure and data centre programs that form The Global Digital Infrastructure Education Framework.

This is a dual-skilled role - not just about what you know, it is heavily focused around how you can share that knowledge in a manner that stimulates learning.

Our ideal applicant will:

  • Have a recent history of employment in the digital infrastructure sector including data centre or network infrastructure roles
  • Have a considerable passion for the subject matter and the professional development of the future workforce
  • Be creative and innovative, able to use program design tools to their fullest capability and be prepared to learn new skills
  • Have verifiable knowledge and experience in a range of disciplines gained within the digital infrastructure sector. Examples of roles might include:
    • Operations management
    • Data centre and network infrastructure design
    • Facilities management
    • HVAC/Power specialist
    • Project management
    • Technical architect
    • Energy and sustainability practitioner
    • Network infrastructure installation/project management

A formal teaching qualification or experience of contributing to the development of individuals through a training or mentoring process would be advantageous but not essential, as full training will be available.

We would prefer this position to be UK based, however we are happy to consider applications from other locations across the world for the right person.

CNet Training is expanding its Instructor team

We are seeking professionals from the Digital Infrastructure Industry with an enthusiasm to share their technical knowledge and experience with the workforce of the future. You will need to have current and verifiable experience and be knowledgeable and innovative. You will also need to have exceptional communication skills and possess a confident and engaging manner.

Joining us as an Instructor you will be delivering high-quality education programs that form The Global Digital Infrastructure Education Framework to a global audience.

A formal teaching qualification or experience of contributing to the development of individuals through a training or mentoring process would be advantageous, or a passion for the subject matter you have experience in, and a desire to share your knowledge with others is equally desirable. You will be supported every step of the way and undertake the train-the-trainer process for each program you teach.

We are looking for instructors with a history of employment within the data centre or the network infrastructure sectors. If you have knowledge and experience in a range of the following subjects and would like to apply, please use the details below:
