Following the recent technical and management review of the CDCDP™ course, the CNet Training management team have implemented a new process to recertify all CDCD™ and full CDCDP™ graduates on a three yearly basis. The recertification process begins from the 1st August 2010, previous graduates need not recertify until 31st July 2013.
CNet Training’s Technical Director; Gary Thornton explains, “the decision was made with the objective to maintain the quality of the CDCDP™qualification. We wanted to ensure that all CDCDP™ graduates maintain relevant industry knowledge; and the CDCDP™ program operates in accordance with the International Standard, ANSI/ISO/IEC 17024” – General Requirements for bodies operating certification of persons.
The recertification program has been designed to be simple, inexpensive but of real value to individuals. A delegate will need to attend a 1-day technical update seminar to recertify their CDCD™ designation and a 2-day technical update seminar for the full CDCDP™ designation. The seminars will provide clear updates on the advances, changes and relevant new technologies in the data centre arena.
These seminars will be knowledge driven and structured to provide attendees with valuable and helpful information. Following attendance a graduate is then authorised to continue using the designation letters of the qualification for a further three years and has demonstrable career enhancement and personal development to employers and customers.
The CDCDP™ Technical Update seminars will be held across the globe, a seminar schedule and prices will be released in due course.
