Gary Thornton – the only non U.S. person to hold DCEP certification
CNet’s Group Technical Director-Gary Thornton attended the pilot DCEP course, after an intense training program and tough examination he successfully passed the initial “Generalist Level” examination and has now passed the HVAC “Specialist” element of the DCEP program. The DCEP program is designed to be a highly technical specialist certification, Gary’s achievement on this course highlights his vast technical knowledge and ability, and it is this expertise which reinforces CNet’s proud position as market leader in technical training.
Gary said “to be invited onto this pilot program was a privilege, to know that I am one of only 18 people that holds this certification worldwide is a great achievement, but most importantly to be the first and only non U.S. person to hold the new DCEP certification makes me feel very proud.”
The Department of Energy is now looking at the way in which the new certification program is developed and delivered in the US and globally, CNet Training is looking at the potential of adding this certification to its portfolio of industry leading data centre training products.
