Fibre in an External Environment Course Overview

This 2-day course is designed to provide expertise in singlemode fibre optics installation.

Delegates are drawn from a wide range of backgrounds and gain the knowledge to joint and splice fibre optic cables into enclosures and use specialist equipment to test fibre. Correct installation methods and procedures are examined to ensure competency when checking infrastructures and supervising staff. On successful completion delegates will gain a good grounding in the skills and knowledge of singlemode systems, and a greater understanding of singlemode photonic networks.
